Cesium.tv was created initially for personal use. It is now available as open source due to the popularity of viewing content on the TV and the explosion of independent content creators. Cesium.tv also offers white label service to help content creators launch their own dedicated OTT application to serve their viewers.
Cesium.tv was created by software engineers with decades of experience and with several successful business ventures under their belt. While we know very little about content creation, we feel we can bring deep value to those that do by helping them to deliver content to the living room.
We believe in independent creators and we are dedicated to empowering them to reach the widest possible audience and compete with the incumbent corporate media giants in the arena of the living room.
